Wherever you go and wherever you look in Tanzania and Zanzibar there is always something interesting and different to do and see - the farmers and fishermen going about their daily tasks, the delightful children always singing and dancing, food being prepared over charcoal on the floor behind the houses, the Maasai in their traditional costume and their intricate beaded jewellery, women carrying water back home from the well on their heads. And in contrast you find the cities with beautifully designed modern architecture, the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life, traffic jams and hooting horns, crowded daladalas (small buses), all adding up to a vibrant colourful backdrop to daily life in Africa. And despite the acute poverty and health issues the people come shining through with open welcoming arms and smiling faces. What an honour to be part of it! I hope my pictures tell the story.
